I purchased the car for $1800.  A friend of mine did most of the repair work to get her running again at a cost of $1500, to clean fuel tank-a waste-rework carbs, repair body, rework brakes, install new seat vinyl, and generally clean her up.  I purchased the Shelby Z wheels for $75, the center caps for $35, a new (used)  fuel tank $175 installed, center console $80.  Besides the usual daily costs, that's about it. The original price in 1971 was $3526.
